The Choir of Essentials offers a 30-day return window on eligible products, subject to the conditions below. Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under applicable Canadian provincial or territorial consumer protection and sale-of-goods legislation, or applicable US consumer protection law.
Return Eligibility
Change-of-Mind Returns
We accept change-of-mind returns for products that are:
• Returned within 30 days of the confirmed delivery date
• Unused and uninstalled, with no evidence of assembly or installation
• In their original packaging, or equivalent protective packaging suitable for safe transit
Not Eligible for Change-of-Mind Returns
• Products returned more than 30 days after the confirmed delivery date
• Products that have been used, installed, or assembled
• Products whose original or protective packaging has been discarded or materially damaged
• Opened hygiene products, consumables, or replacement filters
• Products marked as Final Sale at the time of purchase
Defective, Damaged, Incorrectly Described, or Incorrectly Shipped Products
If a product you received is defective, does not match its description on our website, arrived damaged, or was not the product you ordered, you are entitled to a remedy — including a refund, replacement, or exchange — subject to the remedies and time periods required by applicable law. This applies regardless of the change-of-mind return conditions above.
Please contact us promptly at hello@thechoirofessentials.com with your order number and, where relevant, photographs of the issue. Prompt notification helps us investigate efficiently. Nothing in this section creates an absolute deadline that removes your statutory rights.
How to Start a Return
• Email hello@thechoirofessentials.com with your order number and the reason for your return
• We will respond within 1–2 business days with return instructions
• Pack the item securely and send it using the method provided in our instructions
• Once your return is received and inspected, your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days
An email with your order number is all we need to begin.
Return Shipping Costs
Change-of-Mind Returns
For change-of-mind returns, the cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer in both Canada and the United States. We will provide return shipping instructions; the customer arranges and pays for return shipping to the address provided.
Defective, Damaged, Incorrectly Described, or Incorrectly Shipped Products
Where a return is due to a product defect, damage on arrival, an item that materially differs from its description, or an incorrectly shipped item, The Choir of Essentials will cover reasonable return shipping costs. We will provide return instructions once the issue is confirmed.
Refunds
Refund Method
All refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Store credit may be offered as an alternative at the customer’s request.
Refund Timeline
• Returned items are inspected within 2 business days of receipt
• Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of inspection
• Depending on your payment provider or card issuer, funds may take an additional 3–10 business days to appear in your account
You will receive an email confirmation when the refund has been processed on our end.
Partial Refunds
A partial refund may be issued where only part of an order is returned and the returned items are eligible under the conditions above. Partial refunds do not apply to items that are ineligible for change-of-mind returns, including products that have been used, installed, or assembled.
Exchanges
Exchanges are processed as a return of the original item followed by a new order. Please include your preferred replacement item in your return email and we will confirm availability before you send the item back.
Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Returns & Refunds Policy limits any rights you have under applicable provincial or territorial consumer protection and sale-of-goods legislation in Canada, or under applicable US federal or state consumer protection law. Where your statutory rights provide a broader remedy than this policy, those rights apply.
